Meet Omar Safa,
Lebanese-Bulgarian designer and calligrapher
Omar Safa is a Lebanese-Bulgarian designer, who studied the various disciplines of Graphic Design at the American University of Beirut. With a deep interest in classical Arabic calligraphy, Omar has been dedicated to perfecting his craft in printmaking, calligraphy & product design, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Through years of study under experienced esteemed calligraphers, Omar honed his skills in classical Arabic calligraphy and has developed an acute skill of morphing the flat discipline into a three dimensional manifestation. He has won a linotType (Germany) award for Arabic fontmaking for his font FLUID, and will happily design your Arabic tattoo.

Having studied classical Arabic calligraphy under such calligraphers as Samir El Sayegh, Mukhtar El Baba and Fadi El Awayed for the past four years, Omar has developed an acute skill of morphing the flat discipline into a three dimensional manifestation as seen in the various items on display.
